Numinous occupies the one place that belongs to no universe — the wormhole connecting this reality to another.

Constructed from neutron star core materials, it functions as a transfer node, channeling energy between two cosmoses while remaining outside both.

Its deeper function is conversion: Numinous draws dark matter from this universe, converts it into anti-entropic energy, and sends it forward — to the original City, the Mind's last architecture, which runs on nothing.

The Sentries move through it freely because they were made for exactly this. To exist at the edge of what a universe can hold. To pass through the place where one reality ends and another has not yet begun.
