Xerex

Xerex is a planet whose surface is largely covered in volcanic rock. Its star is a red dwarf, and due to the star's unstable nature, the people of Xerex learned to live deep within cities carved into stone mountains.

They are capable of surviving for long periods without water or food. Despite these harsh conditions, they developed a humane and moral society.

During the reign of Emperor Horos, they were subjected to genocide for refusing to submit and for resisting the armies of the Empire. According to official records, not a single Xerexian survived Horos's brutality.
