Numinous Portal System

The Numinous Portal System is the original and most advanced form of interstellar transportation.

Numinous exists inside a wormhole, outside the normal spacetime conditions of the universe. Its portal technology exploits this unique position to connect Numinous directly to locations throughout ordinary space.

Once the necessary portal infrastructure has been established at a destination, a portal can be opened there. Travel through the portal is effectively instantaneous, regardless of the physical distance between Numinous and the destination.

This makes Numinous function as a universal transit hub:

Planet A → Numinous → Planet B

Two planets may be thousands or millions of light-years apart, but physical distance between them is largely irrelevant when traveling through Numinous.

The technology behind the system is classified Numinous technology and is not normally shared with outside civilizations.

Because Numinous itself exists within the wormhole rather than at an ordinary location in the universe, conventional gravitational time dilation affecting planets and star systems does not apply to it in the same way.
